September 24 2018 - Roco introduces the ICE-Velaro.

In 2013 Fleischmann surprised the model trainers in the era IV with the introduction of the ICE-Velaro, DB series 407. Surprising, because in that period the brands Fleischmann and Roco were assigned to their own eras. The modern equipment, from era IV / V, was assigned to Roco.

The implementation of the ICE-Velaro from 2013 was a model from the pre-series, in 2014 the updated version was put on the market. The trainset, with the two additional expansion sets, remained in production for only two years. At the end of 2015 it was already over-and-out.

In the autumn brochure, Roco introduces the ICE-Velaro as their. Roco mentions that the train set is included in the program for the first time, but the photos unmistakably show the ICE Velaro Fleischmann from 2014. The photographic material is simply taken over.

The expected adoption of the Fleischmann HO models by Roco will follow the same route, but the other way around, as has been followed with the N-track equipment from Roco to Fleischmann. Nowhere the addition "Fleischmann by Roco".
