February 2020 - The Fleischmann catalogue 1958/1959.

This year Fleischmann surprises its fans with a true turntable for the Model Rails range.

The V 200 diesel locomotive of the DB is new. For DM 37.50 this giant with changing straps and changing three-point lighting could go home. In The Netherlands this locomotive cost Fl 54.00.

The Gotthard locomotive, series R 6/6 and a shunting locomotive from the SBB were novelties for model railroaders in Switzerland. The shunting locomotive could, if desired, be fed via the rail bars or via the overhead line.

If there were no new four-axle passenger cars of the DB, the novelties were with American models. No fewer than five new carriages and almost as many variants. At the goods wagons, the choice for open and boxed goods wagons and tank wagons became somewhat wider. A welcome newcomer is the 29 centimeter long, eight-axle low-loader wagon, series Sst34.
