On the front of the catalog the electric locomotive of the RE 4/4 series of SBB is in tee colors. We can find this novelty as an order number 4341 on page 21 of the catalog.

Also new in the assortment is "Der Grüne Karl", a tender locomotive (order number 4028) intended for the cogwheel railway. The partly green locomotive was equipped with an extra cogwheel between the front powered axle.
A tender locomotive from the series 64 of the DB completes the novelties under the steam locomotives (order number 4064).

The junior series is also expanded with three models. Under the passenger coaches we find two two-axle luggage coaches, 5054 (white/blue of the ELB) and 5055 (green from the DRG). At the four-axle passenger coaches we see two coaches from the FS from Italy (5142 and 5145) and a coach of the DSB (5157). This coach is a model variant of the one for the Dutch Railways (5156).

The freight wagons do not know a substantial expansion this year; We count exactly three novelties. A short stake wagon with a Wiking truck (5219), a longer stake wagon with a Roskopf military truck (5222) and a tank wagon from Texaco (5406).

On page 47 we find some interesting news: the Fox coupler. This is the precursor to the PROFI-coupling.
