June 2022 - Fleischmann catalog 1973.

As in 1971, the front of the catalogue shows the DB TEE locomotive 103 118-6. The DB 064 389-0 was named Locomotive Model of the Year by the Eisenbahn Journal in 1972. This is of course widely reported.

We find the first novelty on page 21 with locomotives of the Austrian (ÖBB) and the Swedish railways (SJ). The order numbers are 4365 (SJ) and 4366 (ÖBB).
On page 22 you will find the novelty for the Dutch model railroader; the 1215 in the then modern livery of the Dutch Railways.

For the passenger coaches, on page 28 we find four 26.4m coaches of the Deutsche Bundesbahn. These are a green baggage coach (order number 5101), a blue first class coach (5103), a green second class coach (5104) and a red restaurant coach (5105).
On page 32 we find four new coaches in the POP paint scheme (order numbers 5159, 5171, 5173 and 5174), as well as two coaches in the TEE paint scheme (5160 and 5162).
Page 33 brings us two express train passenger coaches (5183 and 5184) and two DDM series double decks car transporters (5284 and 5285). The 5285 is loaded with eight cars.

There are hardly any new freight wagons. This year only a X05 low sided wagon (5011) and a tools wagon (5339).
