June 2023 - Another beautiful Fleischmann steam locomotive for Roco.

Another beautiful Fleischmann product has appeared at Roco. The tender locomotive 56 2009-1 of the DR (formerly DDR). It is in itself a novelty; Fleischmann never released this series with sound for the Deutsche Reischbahn (former East Germany).

The locomotive is available in an analogue and therefore also a digital version:

Roco 70037,
with NEM 651 plug interface, bronze-coloured wheels, close coupling on tender side.

Roco 70038,
with NEM 651 plug interface, bronze-coloured wheels, close coupling on tender side, with digital load-independent DCC sound decoder.

A three-rail AC version has not been announced.
