September 2024 - Fleischmann catalogue 1983.

The red 218 306-9, one of the standard diesel locomotives of the Deutsche Bundesbahn, graces the cover this year.

Among the steam locomotives, the T3, then series 89.70-75, makes its debut as a model of the Deutsche Reichsbahn, era II (order number 4010). We see many variants of this beautiful model in the years that follow. Under order number 4093 we find the third model variant of the series 94, now for the Deutsche Reichsbahn, also era II.

An ocean blue-beige diesel locomotive from the series 218 can be purchased under order number 4933. This special model variant is equipped with grinding discs to keep the rails clean.
For lovers of TEE material; Fleischmann is re-releasing the express train locomotive from the series 103 (order number 4376). The black chassis beams are now painted in TEE red.

The start series includes several new models. The goods wagons only include three models. The most striking are the 5088; a postal carriage of the Deutsche Reichsbahn, era II, and the 5189; a postal/baggage carriage in the IC colours, era IV.
There are also a few new the freight cars. Only a few small carriages (model variants) complete the range.

The Profi-rails system is further expanded with, among other things, three-way switches and crossings.
